Caring For Patients Who Are Plus Size: Enhancing Environment, Equipment & Staff Expertise Conference

Alfred Health and Laneways Rehabilitation and Ergonomics partnered to present this unique one-day conference designed for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, nursing, medical and associated staff who care for individuals who are plus size. Relevant to Acute, Subacute, Community, Aged and Disability sectors.

The focus areas included:

  • Language, Weight Stigma, and Inclusive Practice

  • Practical Strategies for Care Planning and Provision

This recording will be beneficial for HCP’s who are interested in improving both their professional practice and workplace service design to enable better care for patients in larger bodies.
